We needed a good school building for studying designs, that
we started and completed to construct the Tamachi School Building,
which won "Good Design Award 2004 (Building and Environment
Design Department)".We did not actually constructed it, but
reconstructed and reused the 40-year-old building. We took
the conversion method, so that we can express our education
philosophy: changing an existing idea into another new sense.The
appearance tells the image as if it was some factory to the
viewers. In fact, it is a factory that recreates (educates)
the people. You'll see it when you walk inside, that the students'
faces are bright and their senses are improving. This factory
also elevates people.
Higashiiba School Building, which is 15 minutes far from JR
Hamamatsu Station on foot, holds all the facilities and equipments
for bringing out the senses and abilities from the people who
aim at the professinal 3 fields.
